Earth Day at R,E Baker and then on the Square

I was honored to be asked to meet with Mrs Abrams class at R,E Baker elementary school. This was the third year in a row that i visited her class. With the weather clear we all went out side and had the whole show out there. I was surprised when Mrs Abrams asked me to do 4 more shows for other classes in her school so I stuck around. The kids all had a great time and asked a lot of questions.
After the school event I was onto Earth Day on the square. Put on by 2 schools this year RE baker and Sugar Creek elementary. There where songs about the Earth and a lot of different booths set up to teach these young minds how to keep the planet beautiful. After hundreds of kids sat in Eco One and asked even more questions we called it a day and I headed home. Wow what a great Earth Day.

Earh Hour 2011 is Near

Earth hour is just a few weeks away. Of course I plan on joining in on this wonderful event and you can too. It's not event you have to go to, Its not something you have plan ahead for. All you have to do turn out the lights. Earth hour has only been around for 3 short years and has had over 1.3 billion people participate. It's so crazy that something so plain can change the minds of so many people from the tops of governments to everyday people like you and me around the world. So please join this fantastic event all you need to do is turn off your lights for 1 hour on March 26 at 8:30. Leave your thoughts in the comments below. Earth Day Expo Walmart ISD

During Earth day my office asked me to come by and show my car. They had several other efficient vehicles there as well. Had some fun and showed my coworkers my Real Green Side.

RE Baker Elem, Asked me to at their Earth Day On the Square event. Everyone had a lot of fun and the whole event tuaght us all so much with all the various activities.
