Greenwala Ultimate ECO GEEK Challenge

I found out about this great website Greenwala.com. This is a very Green site. They have different ways to go green and also great ways to make a difference in the world around you.

There is also this great contest currently going on. It is the Ultimate ECO GEEK Challenge! The premise of the chalenge is "How are you being GREEN with your TECH GADGETS!" Of course I just had to enter this! It would be great if you voted for me.

Welcome to the site!

OK so this is my site. As I get going on this great trip I will be keeping a chronicle of what i am doing to help SAVE the PLANET!. I will also keep everyone who reads up to date how the rest of the People of Earth are saving the planet as well.

Also in the next few weeks my YOUTUBE channel will be up and this site will let everyone know what is going on locally as well s internationally on the ECO HERO front. The news cast will be made by my 3 boys and my wife. As well as update to my FLICKR.

So bare with me as this is only the BETA addition of the website. As is I get the hang of it the site will evolve into a great ECO news site as well as a great place to keep up with all the events i go to as an ECO HERO!

Upcoming events! for the first weekend in Nov.

Nov. 6th

     First Fridays Downtown Bentonville on the square. This is the last of the year so it is a BIG BLOW OUT event. This months theme is "Holiday Cheer is Near" And there will be a lot to do and see. The best of all will be the Toy City with just about everything you can imagine! I will be there handing out balloons next to the Walmart stage! so be sure to come down and check it out.

time 4pm till 9pm

Nov. 7th

     The Big Bentonville Bike Safety Rodeo. This will also be on the square off to the side in the Arvest parking lot. This is a big event that will teach kids to be safe on there bikes. Be sure to bring your bike and a helmet. Bike safety is always a good thing to learn and use! There will be 2 age groups for learning. After this gets done there will be a family fun ride to the Bike races held at Slaughter pen trail.

And lastly one of my other passions is tech. I always try to stay beyond the bleeding edge of tech. So i will throw in some ECO tech that we will end up with in the near future.
