Sugar Creek Elementary Kindergarten

It was a beautifal day for an outdoor event! Sugar Creek Elementary asked me to show the kindergarten class how to save the planet. I was really honored because my son is in this class. The children had so many questions and they already knew a lot of wonderful ways to reduce, reuse, recycle, and ReThink! I was also able to give every student a key chain that used to be a soda bottle, provided by Coca Cola. The kids really liked that. The teachers even had questions at the end. A week later i went back to see my son at lunch and a lot of the kids knew who i was even without the suit on. One little girl even had the keychain i gave her still.

Real GREEN Conference and Expo 2011

 

I was asked to have a booth at the NWA REALgreen Conference and Expo. This annual show brings together all things green from around the US and sometimes the world. I set up my Recycle game table and showed off ECO-ONE. The event was held in the John Q, Hammons center in Rogers. One of my Favorite booths was the Coca Cola booth. It showed all the great things that a simple bottle can be turned into as well as all the great steps that the company is taking to help save the planet. Because its all electric they let me drive it right in and park it right behind the table. Young and old came to play the recycle game and learn some green steps of there own. We all had a great time and i cant wait for the next event!

Girl Scout Troop 5404 at the Park

I visited with Girl Scout Troop 5404. We met in the park on a beautifull Thursday evening. The troop leaders asked me to read a chapter in ther book Daisy Between Earth and Sky. Its a great book for K though First graders to show them why its importent to save the planet. They had a great time durring the show and already new a lot of things about saving the planet. The girls really like the car too!

YMCA Healthy Kids Day

The sunniest day so far this year and it was a great day for a great event. The YMCA held its annual Healthy Kids event at Mercy Hospital. The crowd was having a great time with rides and live music. They asked me to give a show too! My son decided to ride the Gyro Extreme and i think he's still dizzy from it. I also found ECO-ONE's brother. He's in the medical profession. The YMCA also asked me to attend another event this summer so i will add that one to my site when i go.
